With a high vaulted ceiling, 3 bedrooms (queen), a private parking area, private fire ring, and Lake Chippewa lapping just outside your window, cabin 1 has a special character all its own. There is nothing quite like sitting in one of the comfy chairs in the living area in cabin 1, your back to the open window, fresh morning breeze blowing in while the rising sun casts its warmth on your neck and the reflection off the water paints a light show on the hardwood-paneled wall across from you...
Cabins 2, 3, and 4 have three bedrooms (queen), a spacious living area, full kitchen, and an unmatched south-eastward view of Lake Chippewa. Cabin 2 is the most sought after location for families, being directly in front of the swiming area. Cabin 3 is a bit quieter but still right there in it, and Cabin 4 is the perfect blend of prime location and privacy. Cabin 4 offers both north and south-easterly views as it sits on the point of the resort.
Cabins 5 and 6 are situated on the quieter northeast-facing side of the resort. With 3 docks on this side of the resort, you'll be dock fishing or to your boat as soon as you step outside. Cabins 5 and 6 offer two bedrooms (queen), compact but complete kitchens, bath, and comfortable living area. They also tend to be a bit cooler cabins in the heat of Summer with doors facing north. Those looking for a peaceful waterfront stay should start here.
Trailer 7 is set back from the lake; good if you want less foot traffic outside your door. The living area has a perfect view of the playground should you want to watch the kids burn off energy from your air-conditioned comfort. It's the first of the trailers as you step back from the lake, so you've still got a lovely view over the boat launch and from your private fire pit.
Trailers 8 and 9 are another step toward the quieter end of the resort. Even so, Trailer 8 still boasts a lovely view of the lake past the boat launch, and Trailer 9 is notable for its lookthrough bar from the kitchen/dining to the living area. There's a lot to be said for being within throwing distance of the fun, yet far enough removed for quiet time too.
This most secluded of the trailers is unique for its layout and has the most modern feel of its peers. The living area window bay juts out, with the couch tucked there being a perfect spot for catching a nap or catching some sunlight on the pages of that new novel you are reading. Trailer 10 sits at the edge of a wooded clearing and has a private fire ring.
Cabin 11 offers a combination of privacy, visibility, and space that none of the other lodging choices can match. Two bedrooms (queen) and a pull out couch in the living room make for ample sleeping options. The kitchen offers a small breakfast table and bar seating and the large three-season porch has main table seating for larger gatherings. The porch and wrap around deck look out over virtually the entire resort and give a beautiful view of Lake Chippewa through the trees.
The Guest House features a huge single bedroom with 2 queen beds, a big carpeted living area, a modern full kitchen, and a great view from the 2 large windows facing east over the resort. This might be your ideal spot if the weather is rainy and you or the kids get antsy. Yet, it is close enough to watch your older kids run, play, swim, etc. Do you hear that? It's Peace and Quiet saying, "Remember us?"
The Guest Room, when not rented along with the Guest House, is akin to a simple hotel room from which to launch your adventures. You will find a king bed, a bit of storage space, bath/shower, sink, large window facing east over the resort, and a shared patio with the Guest House. A locking door separates the Guest House and Guest Room, but if you rent both as many people do, the Guest Room becomes the master bedroom of the full lower level and you can comfortably sleep 6.
